Jacob is an adorable 8 year old boy who loves the outdoors. He is a happy boy who loves playing with his superhero toys and participating in arts and crafts. He loves to ride his bike outside and has started to enjoy playing various sports. He has ADD and therefore has some trouble with concentrating but is otherwise a playful, healthy boy who just needs a family to take him home and help him thrive!

Cara is a sweet 6 year old girl who needs a home. She is very expressive and is always sweet to others. She is hardly ever shy and she always follows the rules given to her. She is diagnosed with microcephaly and a communication disorder, but she has made big strides of advancement in this area.  She needs a loving family who can provide her with the love and care she needs to continue to advance. Could Cara be your daughter?

She has a mild cognitive impairment and a speech delay, but has a great prognosis if she continues to receive the right kind of therapy and care. Sweet Sisters

Meet Anna and Allison*! 

These are two sweet girls with moderate cognitive delays. They are both very social and love making new friends.They are both described as very expressive but always stay respectful and follow the rules. Anna is a 7 year old girl who is very artistic. She loves dancing with her friends and she is also very good at painting. Allison is a 9 year old girl who loves being outdoors. She enjoys playing in the park outside and also loves playing soccer with her friends. 

These two social girls need a loving family who can provide them with a stable home with the right care they need to grow.

Meet the brothers, Caleb and Jeff*!

Caleb is 12 years old and Jeff is 9 years old. They are two active, healthy boys who need a loving family. 

Caleb is a smart, active boy who loves playing soccer. He acts as a protector for his little brother and sometimes can be a little shy at first. 

Jeff is a spirited, sweet boy who admires his older brother. Like his brother, he loves playing soccer but he also likes participating in arts and crafts.

Hello everybody!

Welcome to the Latin America Waiting Children blog.  This blog is part of a pilot program designed to help us find forever homes for the children of Latin America. We are so excited to start this blog and have the chance to show you these wonderful children. We will be providing information and keeping you updated on waiting kids so stay tuned to follow along with the miracle of adoption! 

In Latin America we typically find individual kids as well as sibling groups. These children are considered to have "special characteristics" which means they may have a medical or psychological special needs, but it could be that they are just part of a large sibling group or are above the age of 8 .  We encourage you to check back to see our future posts as we start this pilot program help these children find their forever family.
